President's Award 2012
Each year the PWC's past president has an opportunity to personally select an individual for the President's Award. Recipients are colleagues who have contributed extraordinary efforts in the various realms for workers' compensation by demonstrating selfless service and ongoing dedication to our field
This year's recipient is Robert J. Erickson, Director of Legal Services at Pinnacol Assurance. Rob joined Pinnacol in 2002 as staff counsel and assumed his current position in 2007. Previously, he served as an Administrative Law Judge in the Colorado Division of Workers' Compensation, as well as the Colorado Division of Administrative Hearings.

He also represented injured workers in workers' compensation claims with the Denver Law firm Eley and Eley. Rob, originally from Iowa, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota and completed his law degree at the University of Denver. He was most recently awarded the Lance Butler Award by the Colorado Bar Association.
