Michael “Micah” Worrell, DO
Dr. Michael (Micah) Worrell spent his childhood in rural Missouri before settling and being married in Colorado as an adult. As a result of running a hobby ranch, being a road cyclist and new golfer, Dr. Worrell understands the demands placed on an active body related to both acute and chronic injuries. Dr. Worrell is a dedicated osteopathic physician and board-certified hand/upper extremity orthopedic surgeon who prioritizes understanding and treating patients as a complete person, helping them return to an active and fulfilling life as quickly and safely as possible.
Fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Worrell takes specific interested in disorders that negatively impact a patient’s activity level. From sports and work related injuries, to carpal tunnel, upper extremity trauma, and upper extremity arthritis, Dr. Worrell takes pride in collaborating with his patients to provide both non-operative and operative options to optimize their engagement in a fulfilling life.
Cliff Eley, Esq. Eley Law Firm
has been representing injured workers since 1983. His practice is limited to workers compensation. He received his BA and JD from Brigham Young University. He is a past president of the WCEA and past chair of the Workers Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
Sean Elliott, Ritsema Law Attorney
Sean joined the firm in August 2023 with 17 years of experience in Colorado workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Ritsema Law and immediately following law school, Sean spent eight years in private practice with a firm representing multiple insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation matters. After eight years in private practice, he moved to in-house counsel for Pinnacol Assurance and then was promoted to Claims Director and eventually Associate Vice President of Claims managing the claims discipline, medical case managers and return to work specialists. Sean wished to get back into litigation defending employers and carriers in workers’ compensation matters utilizing a team-oriented approach for efficient and strategic resolution of complex issues.
Sean enjoys participating in workers’ compensation rules and legislative discussions at the Division of Workers’ Compensation and has a strong reputation with the workers’ compensation community and Colorado Bar Association. Prior to going to Pinnacol Assurance, Sean was involved in Colorado Defense Lawyer’s Association and was a committee member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
